Giving

NTID's 50th Anniversary in 2018 marked the beginning of efforts to create a museum that recognizes NTID's rich history and how integral alumni contributions have shaped the success of the “Grand Experiment.” Fundraising began and progress was made with displays during the reunion, a new conference room for alumni and visitors, a commissioned mural by alumna Susan Dupor, and museum-quality history panels shown in the first exhibit on this site.

Plans continue, although interrupted by COVID, to complete a space along LBJ second floor street. This space will recognize NTID’s history and the vital roles of many key players (alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of NTID) and will include a walking timeline that combines wall space as well as electronic and traditional-style displays to showcase NTID history and alumni memorabilia.  Possible displays could include: NTID Focus magazines over the years, NTID Alumni Association history, diversity at NTID, recognition of influential faculty/staff, theater history, and deaf alumni athletes, to name a few.

We are very thankful for the support shown to this project, and appreciate all of the donors who have given towards these efforts.

Donors who have given $250 or more have their names displayed here.

Donors to the NTID Alumni Museum at the following levels will be recognized in the physical space on a Museum Donor Wall.

Gifting levels include:

  • $10,000 payable over a maximum of three years
  • $5,000 payable over a maximum of three years
  • $1,500 payable over a maximum of two years

Museum exhibits can also be named with gifts ranging from $15,000-$25,000 depending on the costs to manufacture and install each exhibit.
